REVIVER
Helsinki 2024
Task
In February 2024, I launched REVIVER, an art project combining environmental sustainability with creative innovation. Using repurposed books from Helsinki’s libraries, I handcrafted paper and experimented with linoleum printmaking to develop unique artwork.
Challenge
Working from my basement studio, I faced the challenge of mastering new techniques while transitioning from a traditional artistic approach to a more hands-on, eco-conscious process. Additionally, I needed a way to engage directly with the community and share my work.
Solution
By summer 2024, I created a mobile art shop using a self-constructed bicycle wagon, bringing my artwork to the streets of Helsinki. This allowed me to connect with locals and tourists, fostering meaningful exchanges. Looking ahead, I plan to expand REVIVER with new print collections and sustainable materials.
