Task
I create custom caricature illustrations for Finlands Natur, a quarterly publication by Natur och Miljö. The goal is to capture complex environmental topics in a visually engaging and accessible way.
Challenge
Natur och Miljö commissions me to create caricature illustrations for their magazine Finlands Natur to accompany articles on environmental issues. The illustrations need to be eye-catching, thought-provoking, and align with the publication’s mission to raise awareness about sustainability and nature conservation.
Solution
The main challenge is to strike a balance between humor and sensitivity, ensuring that the caricatures delivered their message effectively without trivializing serious environmental issues. Additionally, the illustrations need to resonate with a diverse readership, from environmental experts to casual readers.
