Suomen Metsä
As a co-founder and Creative Director of Suomen Metsä, I have helped shape the organization from the very beginning. Since its launch in May 2022, I have been responsible for its visual identity, communication, website, campaigns, photography, and creative direction; translating environmental conservation into clear, engaging, and impactful storytelling.
Since its founding, Suomen Metsä has raised over €120,000 for forest conservation. Below are two of the most influential projects we have created: a big community cycling adventure and a fundraising art exhibition.
Helsinki–Hanko welfare cycling event 2023
On 27 May 2023, Suomen Metsä organized a 155 km community cycling event from Helsinki to Hanko to celebrate and raise awareness of Southern Finland’s unique forests. Nearly 120 cyclists and more than a dozen carefully selected partners took part in the initiative, which began with a send-off by Mayor Juhana Vartiainen and concluded in Hanko nine hours later.
Art exhibition Red-Listed
Red-Listed is a fundraising art exhibition featuring 20 original hand-printed linocut artworks that is portraying endangered and extinct species of Southern Finland’s forests. First exhibited at the Finnish Museum of Natural History during summer 2025 and summer 2026 at Helsinki Zoo. I have created and donated the entire collection to Suomen Metsä, with 100% of artwork sales supporting the permanent protection of Finland’s forests.
